Disassembly

1. Make sure the gun is not loaded and the magazine is removed.

2. Make a tool with a paperclip.  Bend the tip to just under the diameter of the guide rod (red lines).

3. Pull the slide back and lock open with the slide release.

4. Insert the short end into the small hole in the guide rod (red arrow).

5. Pull back on the slide and gently let the slide move forward and touch the paperclip.

6.  Continue pushing the slide forward (blue arrow) until the second cutout is beside the slide release (red arrow).

7. The slide stop has a small portion of the pin sticking out on the other side of the gun.  Push on the tip and the release will be easier to lift out. (picture below: red circle).

8. With the slide release gone, the slide can be slid all the way forward (blue arrow).

9. Pull the guide rod back and then down to remove from the slide (red arrow).

10. Pull the barrel forward out the front of the slide (red arrow).

Reassembly

1. Insert the barrel through the front of the slide.

2. Insert the guide rod, the reverse rounded end rests against the barrel.

3. Align the back of the slide (red mark) to the rails on the frame (red mark).

4. Slide the frame back until the hole in the barrel link is in line with the hole in the frame for the slide release (blue circles pictured above and below).

5. When aligned, insert the slide release most of the way in (red arrow).

6. Line up the second hole in the slide with the slide release (red arrow) and push the slide release the rest of the way in (blue arrow).

7. Pull the slide back and lock open with the slide release.
